Too much in your plate?

Procrastination is one of those things that sometimes we’re conscious of it, sometimes we’re not. But what happens when we procrastinate and how it holds us back from what we really, really want in life, is why it’s so important to learn how to overcome it.

I tend to procrastinate or I have procrastinated quite a bit in my life in the past, but I can start my day with the best of intentions to get all of my important tasks done. But I soon find myself detouring from the path.

I don’t know about you, but I end up filling my day with things that just pop up, whether those are errands, busyness, emails, Facebook. I know the most important things that I need to do for the day and I know that those are usually the ones that are going to bring me ultimate happiness, but I tend to put those more pressing things first, whether those are the chores, the phone calls, errands, etc.

But, I think now, given the age that we’re in and with social media, there are so many different things that we can get distracted, not to mention our email inbox, which I know is overflowing for most of you as well.
